Treasurer's Report/Request for Funds:

• Coach Jones Requests - $3726.56 for PE Eqt, $370, approved
• Additional Requests - library getting measured for costs, should have in Sept.
• Request several teachers - water - $1000, Michelle to check on prices to see if we can get cheaper, 70 people
• Go through budget for 2010/2011 and decide how to proceed with limited funds
• Establish communication to teachers for Field Trip money of $300 per grade - Ms Woodcock to send email

Old Business:

• Debrief on back to school night:

Few people with volunteer info, send updates, and email; Welcome email

• Debrief on Welcome back gifts, breakfast, boo-hoo - Dr Polson sent thank you, staff meeting, training - went well. Teachers $25 Walmart, $10 SB, Breakfast, Boo Hoo 40ish
• Review and approve July Minutes. Approved with changes Aug 11 T orT,
  • Welcome Dinner - $40 for 100 people, PTO Welcome dinner, come, eat and learn more about the PTO 6-7 pm Find out how all the great  things we are doing for BCCS.

New Business

• Fall Fundraiser - dates, times, efforts - Talisha to check on packet assembly, Sept 7 date for turn in.
• Core Knowledge Aug 26^th -  What do we want to provide/do -
  • Ms Kelly, Jan 20^th Hot Dogs and man grill.
  • Volunteer Give and Take Table and table with fundraising items
• Trunk or Treat meeting August 23, 2010 430 pm Room 131 - details
• Go through established Dates
  • August 18 - Assembly Fall Fundraiser kick off
  • Fall Fundraiser: Aug 19-Sept 7
  • September 1 - Cafeteria PTO Welcome Dinner, food to be provided, outline PTO events and how to support (Cafeteria 6-7) - informal
  • Core Knowledge Night Support - PTO will assist in all Core Knowledge Nights, meeting with Heather Kelly pending
  • Trunk or Treat: Friday Oct 29, 6-8, Cafeteria and hallways to office area (similar to last year)
  • Holiday Gift Shop Dec 13-16, Library? Springboard - concern messing with items, cover items
  • Spring Fund Raiser: World's Finest Chocolate March timeframe, dates to be solidified
  • Luau: May 13 or 14, we will complete a parent poll back to school night to determine Friday night or Saturday afternoon time.
